Amigurumi crochet pattern sleepy girl Sandy with nightcap and stuffed animal and her sleeping head sister Mandy with cuddly cloth.

Sleepy heads Sandy & Mandy

Whether they have just gotten out of bed or whether it has really already been bedtime. Sleepy head Sandy and Sleepy head Mandy always look sleepy!

The sleepy sisters are both wearing a nice and different nightgown. Lovely slippers on the feet and each with their own nightcap! They also both have a nice toy to cuddle with!

Sleepy head Mandy also has an extra sleeping mask, because of course you don't sleep with your eyes open! 😉

A super crochet pattern of a sweet girl. Change the position of her eyelids and she will look less sleepy. Her nightgown can easily be changed for another dress!

Materials used for the Sleepy head sisters:

You can use any brand and type of yarn you want for this crochet pattern. If you use thicker or thinner yarn, sisters Sandy and Mandy will also become larger or smaller. Below is a list of the materials I used for these sleeping ladies.

Cotton in the following colours:

  • Durable Coral 2192 Pale Pink, skin colour, body, 72 grams
  • Lammy Yarns Rio 062 Light green, bottoms, slippers and nightcap, 70 grams
  • Lammy Yarns Rio 458 Dark green, Nightgown and bow in nightcap, 36 grams
  • Lammy Yarns Rio 628, mixed green/blue/white, hare, 20 grams
  • Lammy Yarns Rio 114 Brown, hair, 16 grams
  • Thread of pink and brown cotton for the nose and eyes of the hare
  • A little bit fluffy yarn for the slippers
  • Crochet hook 2.5
  • Safety eyes 10mm
  • Scissors, needle, filling, piece of white felt.
  • 4 small buttons for the nightgown
  • Sturdy cardboard or plastic for the slippers.
  • Electrical wire, about 38cm per leg and 35cm per arm and thin iron wire.

It is not necessary to make a frame in the body, it does give that little bit extra, but if you fill her well, then that is completely fine!

Sleepy Heads Sandy and Mandy will be about 30 cm tall.
