Crochet pattern Wind chime in a ring, decorated with starfish, fish, shells and pearls
Wind chimes Sea breeze
Crochet a soothing melody of beach and sea for your garden!
Bring the soothing atmosphere of the beach and sea into your garden or on your balcony with this unique crocheted wind chime Sea breeze! This pattern allows you to create a beautiful, marine-inspired wind game. A crochet ring with a subtle fishing net forms the base, decorated with cute crocheted fish, starfish, real shells and glittering pearls. From it hang the aluminium wind chimes that produce a soothing sound with every gentle breeze, a sea breeze in your own garden.
This wind chime proves that a beautiful decoration doesn't have to be complicated.
Add your own favourite shells and pearls for a unique sea breeze.
Of course, this pattern also lends itself very well to hanging all kinds of threads with shells and crocheted fish and starfish on the ring.
Materials Used for the Wind Chime:
You can use any yarn you want for this crochet pattern. However, I would recommend cotton yarn. Here is a summary of the materials I used for this nice wind chime. If you use thicker or thinner yarn, it just won't fit in the ring anymore.
Cotton yarn in the following colours:
- Off-white for the fishing net: 12 grams
- Brown/ecru for the starfish. Per star:
- Small and Medium Starfish: 1 gram, Large Starfish: 4 grams, Variation Starfish: 2 grams
- Blue/grey for the 3 fish: 3 grams
- Ring of 20 cm in diameter
- Wind chime tubes 5 pieces from 7 to 11.5cm
- Crochet hook 2.5 and 3.5
- Scissors, needle
- Shells, buttons and beads
The ring is 20 cm large, the wind chime with the iron tubes attached is 34 cm long.
