You can use any yarn you want for this crochet pattern. If you use thicker or thinner yarn, Polar Bear Snow will become slightly larger or smaller. You will therefore have to adjust the cardboard template for the sledge. Below is a summary of the materials I used for Polar Bear Snow and his sledge.
- Zeeman Royal (100% Acrylic Yarn). White for the bear, used: 45gr
- Light brown for the sledge, used: 60gr. Dark brown for the sledge, used: 35gr.
- Clothes: Mustard, used: 18gr, Blue, used: 22gr and Bordeaux red, used: 22gr
- Safety eyes 8mm
- Crochet hook 3
- Scissors, needle, fibrefill
- Cardboard to make the sledge, I used a milk carton of 1,5 litre to make the base of the sledge.
- 4 bottle caps of the milk carton (glue and tape)
- Cardboard to put in the foot or shoe.
- Textile glue.
Little Polar Bear Snow will be 18 cm tall.
